Bungee jumping
If you don’t fear falling from the higher heights, this is for you. Before you go for this activity, they first check you up and assess the health condition for your body organs especially the heart. If you have diseases like Asthma, lung cancer, tuberculosis, heart attack you are not allowed to be part of it. Pregnant women are also limited from Bungee jumping.
For this adventure, you are usually tied on ropes in your waist and legs, then you are pushed to fall from a highly raised metal cliff down to a pool of water. Another thing to try while in Jinja is the Zip lining in Mabira forest. With this one, you are also tied on ropes and slide on a metal rope from the higher end to the lower end. To reach the higher end or the starting point, you have to first climb the tree.
Boat cruise on Lake Victoria
Boat cruise on the waters of Lake Victoria is another appealing adventure in Jinja. While in the boat you admire pretty views of the lake side scenery. You get from the starting point up to the main source of River Nile and this is a unique experience. Not everyone in Uganda has reached the source of River Nile. The boat rider will as well feed you with different important information about the Nile.
