This is for those who love the Rhinoceros. You will visit the sanctuary in Nakasongola district to have close encounters with these huge animals. This protected area is about 170 kilometers from the capital. A ride requires about 2-3 hours in a well-conditioned vehicle.
Early in the morning you start the drive to Ziwa. When you reach there, the first thing to do is the rhino tracking experience. You get the opportunity to come nearer to these animals but not so close.
From a distance you see them as they do various activities such as feeding, walking and more. After the experience, you will have lunch at the nearby restaurant. Later on you start the drive back to your hotel in the capital, Entebbe or your residential area. We stopover enroute at different road side local markets to enjoy some fresh agricultural products and barbecued meat and chicken.
